The vCard file format is typically used to transfer business card data between computers. Although the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program for Mac does not directly export to vCard files, you can work around it by converting your Excel file to a comma-separated text file and then importing it into the Mac Address Book application. From there, you can export the data to the vCard format.
1.
Open your Excel spreadsheet, click on the 'File' menu and choose the 'Save As' command.

Select 'Comma Separated Values (.csv)' as the file format and save the converted file to your Mac's desktop.

Highlight the CSV file on your desktop and click on the 'Open' button.

Hold down the 'Shift' key and select all of the contacts you want to export to a vCard file.
7.
Click on the 'File' menu, expand the 'Export' submenu and choose 'Export vCard.'

Navigate to the location where you want to store the vCard file and click 'Save.'
